This is what we dreamed off for a long time to have a computer that starts quickly without the baggage of the slow operating system. My computer takes about 3 to 4 minutes to get things ready before I start browsing, I would love to have an OS like Google Chrome OS.
Here is a snap shot of the new Google Chrome OS:

See Whether Your Friends Are Online in Android via Google Mail Labs

If you have friends using Android phones, then you can see whether they are connected in Google Talk gadget in Gmail. This is a news Labs feature (enable "Green Robot!" in Labs Setting) you can activate it if interested.
"Turn on Green Robot, a new experiment in Gmail Labs, and you'll see a robot icon next to people who are currently using Android phones. In the case below, Shirley is online with Android, Nicolle R. is using regular Gmail chat, and Chris I. is currently away but also on Android. Slatka is not an angry robot — she's online with Android but currently busy." Official Gmail Blog

Shop Online Fast with Amazon.com's PayPhrase
Amazon.com is introducing "PayPhrase" by which we can easily checkout from online stores with just a phrase instead of entering the credit card numbers and address details.
Amazon.com said the following about their new online payment method:
With PayPhrase, you no longer have to register or share credit card information with multiple web sites. Use your Amazon PayPhrase to quickly checkout wherever you see the PayPhrase button – on Amazon.com and other sites across the web including DKNY, Jockey, Patagonia, Buy.com, J&R Electronics, and Car Toys to name a few.
The PayPhrase work similiar like Amazon Express Checkout and makes the checkout method very fast in any store that installs this method.
This PayPhrase will make it easier for mobile shopping, no need to remember passwords, usernames, credit card and address details. Amazon's PayPhrase will be pose a tough competition for PayPal and Google Checkout.
The only problem I see that it doesn't allow us to create a unique PayPhrase it only allows from a list of phrases provided by Amazon and some common phrases.

Happy 40th birthday Sesame Street!

Today Google celebrates 40th birthday for Sesame Street, a great TV show for children.
"It's hard to believe, but today marks the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street! Over the past four decades, Sesame Street has been entertaining and educating children all across the world. To pay tribute to the colorful cast of characters, we've been delighted to feature some of your favorites on the Google homepage during the past week. With this effort, we're honored to help support Sesame Workshop, the non-profit organization behind Sesame Street. It's always great to see the spotlight on children's education, and we hope you enjoyed the homepage doodles as much as we did."- Official Google Blog
