Mozilla has hundreds of great extensions or add-ons you can use with Firefox to make your browsing experience more productive. Most of the extensions work with the new browser Firefox 3.5 but some don't.
Here is a list of some great extensions that work with Firefox 3.5
- Google Toolbar 5: This is a must have Firefox extension, with just one click you can search videos, shopping items, Wikipedia articles, reference (dictionary, thesaurus), and many more. If you browse at different computers, you can use the same toolbar everywhere you go.
- HyperWords: Like Google Toolbar, HyperWords is a versatile add-on. Watch the video to see how you can be more productive online.
- FoxClocks: FoxClocks is a great extension to have to check for times around the world. If you are communicating with friends or business contacts worldwide, this is a must have extension.
- AI Roboform: Manage your passwords easily and securely with this extension. It costs $29, but is worth enough to have this online. You can create really tough passwords with this software and manage it online.
- Colorful Tabs: If you use multiple tabs in Firefox, then you should have this. This will provide each tab with a different color and make your browser look cool.

- Personas for Firefox: Spruce up your browser theme with Personas, you can have great themes and change it easily with just a click with this add-on.

- IE Tab: Some websites require you to watch their pages in Internet Explorer only. Instead of opening a new IE browser window, you can watch these pages in Firefox with IE Tab add-on. Open the link first and then click the IE Tab icon in Firefox to see the page in IE format.
- Cooliris: If you love to watch great pictures in the web, then you should add this Cooliris extension.

Other Firefox extensions are not compatible yet, but I am sure their authors will provide an update soon.
When you install these extensions, download one at a time and restart and use it for a while before you download the next. Otherwise you will see plenty of browser crashes.
