Test Drive Google Apps Premier Accounts Before Purchase

If you have an organization, a business or a school or a charity group, then you should have either free Google Apps Standard version (for less than 50 users) or Google Apps Premium version.

You can have Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sites and Google Video for your organization without having the costly software such as Microsoft Office for each of your employees.

You can either join the Google Apps Standard version here or Google Apps Premium version here. But if you want to test drive it before you decide to involve your business with Google Apps then you can do so here at the demo site.

The differences between the standard and premium versions are given here.

The demo version is perfect if you want to see how Google Apps works for your company and with your employees.

The demo account expires after 14 days and you don't have to use your own domain account for testing purposes, you can use a random domain name and you can add up to 10 user accounts.

A small number of features can't be used in the demo account: Postini email services, domain aliasing and phone support, but all the other options should be available. You can test the APIs, the migration tool, Google Apps Sync for Outlook, the video sharing service and other business-oriented features.

Google Apps is a great tool to have not only for organizations but also for bloggers, who have domain names. Instead of having a generic Gmail name, you can you have your own domain name with Google Apps. So you don't have to rely on domain mail servers and storage space.
